Here are my finished creations that I completed for the “My Little Shoebox” Design Team submission. I was going to wait until after the cut off date to share them, but I love how they turned out so wanted to get them up right now (besides there is only one day to go for the cut off). Everyone had to create 2 layouts, a card and a project. Sounds hard?? Not really the products are so versatile and so easy to use that the ideas just flow. You should see some of the pages and creations that are being posted to the My Little Shoebox Facebook Fan page – beautiful! I ended up creating extra layouts and an extra project (that I posted earlier on). Now for the long wait to hear one way or another. Anyway I am rabbiting on, here they are….
My two layouts;
Almost Three
A beautiful photo of Bronte laying outside on the grass. Lots of hand cutting and added dimension to this page….plus a little bit of doodling.
Wild Child
Bronte having fun in the yard, dancing like crazy to her own tune.
I have actually made the door so that it can be opened and closed with a monster popping out from the opened door.
My card;
For my card submission I decided to do a “Moving On” card. Being in the Navy many people come and go though our lives so what better way to say goodbye and good luck than with a hand made exploding pop up card. The card slides into a hand made envelope and when it is taken out it pops or explodes open to reveal the sentiment inside.
Here are some finer details of the card;
My Project;
For my project I made a teapot mini album of Bronte and her special toy friends having a lovely tea party outside.
Now I sit back and wait and see – all my fingers and toes are crossed…..which makes it hard to scrapbook.
