Evan's Fun at Grammy's and Grandpa's

We recently spent a week in PA visiting Jon's family. For 3 of those days, Evan and I hung out at his parents house while Jon and Charlotte spent a few days at Camp Allegheny, the United Methodist camp where he loved to spend his childhood summers. I'll blog more about that soon.

But while they were gone, Evan had Grammy and Grandpa all to himself.... and he loved it! He loved snuggling with Grammy when he woke up from his nap.

Then when Grandpa came home it was time for Evan to follow him around while he worked in the garage.
Evan is a bit afraid of this big tractor but he stayed near it long enough for me to snap a quick picture.

He asked a lot of questions while Grandpa checked on this tractor.

Then Grandpa had to take Evan on his daily tractor ride.

It's hard work keeping up with Grandpa but he had a great time trying.
Evan liked walking in and out of the camper while Grandpa was getting it ready to go camping.
Oscar tried to get into this picture. You should have seen our crazy Chihuahua run all around that garage like he owned the place. He loved to race around their big yard too.

Evan spent a lot of time playing with metal trucks that were saved from Jon's big brother, Ken.

One day, our friend came over to visit and brought her son over to play. Isn't he adorable? He's got the cutest curly hair. I wished we lived closer so we could hang out with them more often. They're running around in the rain in this picture.

Evan didn't want to play in the pool but he ran around in the rain until he was pretty soaked.
As happy as Evan was to see Dada and Charlotte when their camp was over, he loved being the center of attention. It was such a relaxing couple of days that I can't wait to do it again next year!
