Another Crocheted Sweater and Can you guess where I've been?

Wow, it has been over a week since I have written a post. I know there have been posts on here but that is thanks to the handiness of being able to schedule posts. We have been traveling. The picture above is one of the photos I took on our trip. For those of you who don't already know, Can you guess where we have been?

While traveling I worked at finishing up a sweater that I had started at the State Convention. I found the pattern in a library book called "Candy Babies" by Candi Jensen. It has a lot of cute things in it.

In the book the sweater was done in only one color. I had planned to do that as well but I was using up scrap yarn and the dark green didn't go as far as I thought it would so the sweater became two toned.

I decided to do the sleeves a little differently as well with picot edging on them as well as the neckline. I thought the size would be more adjustable by making sleeves that could fold up to be shorter or leave long.

The recipient of this sweater is my sweet niece Corianna. Babies are so fun to crochet for!
