We have hardly gotten any rain in the past few weeks so I've welcomed the rain we've had in the past 24 hours. We've gotten a much needed 1 1/2" of rain and we'll get more tonight and tomorrow. My garden is very happy.
As much as I've appreciated the rain, I decided to go cut a few flowers to brighten up the kitchen on such a dreary day.

Some C
oreopsis and Black-eyed S
usan are perfect for a day like today. I'm not much of a flower gardener but these two have done really well.
